Day 1 - The village of Tamalakout ▲
In the morning, departure for the southern slope of the Atlas. Transfer to the village of Tamalakout (5-hour drive). Traditional reception at our Berber muleteers’ home of Tamalakout (1650m). A short stroll around the village towards the end of the afternoon. A night with the locals.

Day 2 - The village of Aït Tigga ▲
Departure from Tamalakout (1650m). After loading mules, ascend the desert plateaux toward the summit of Siroua. Bivouac in front of the village of Aït Tigga (1950m). 5-hour walk.

- Reach the village of Aït Tigga.
- Overnight bivouac near the village.
- 5-hour scenic walk.
Day 3 - Aït Tigga, Idoughagh and Aït Ighmour ▲
Visit the agadir (a granary 900 years old) of Aït Tigga, and the villages of Idoughagh and Aït Ighmour (2200m). Breaks available as needed. The path winds steeply up and crosses the Col of Tachancht (2500m). Lunch near a source (2400m). Cross a group of Azibs (= sheep-pens) at the foot of Tisfeldalt. Bivouac near Siroua. 6-hour 30-min walk.

Day 4 - The Siroua ▲
Early morning ascent to reach Siroua (3305m) via the southern slope, with slight scaling of the relief. Lunch at the foot of the summit. Descend through the Tikniwine (the twins) to the sheep-pens of Irhiri (2300m). 6-hour 30-min walk.

- Descend through Tikniwine to Irhiri.
- Overnight stay at bivouac.
Day 5 - Trek to Tamazikht ▲
Departure due east along the Tazoult. Cross the massif of Irihi to reach the foot of Msitalla. Follow an easy path skirting the watershed to join the last bivouac near the village of Tamazikht (1730m). 6-hour 30-min walk.

Highlights:
- Traverse Tazoult and Irihi massif.
- Scenic easy walk along the watershed.
- Overnight bivouac near Tamazikht.
- 6.5-hour trek with stunning views.
Day 6 - Return to Marrakech or Ouarzazate ▲
Return to Marrakech or Ouarzazate toward the beginning of the afternoon. Night in the hotel.

Highlights:
- Scenic drive back to Marrakech or Ouarzazate.
- Relax after the trek.
- Overnight stay at hotel.
