Day 1 – Marrakesh – Imi Oughlad – Tinzert
Acclimatization Trek in the High Atlas.

You will leave the vehicle on the road towards Imlil at Imi Oughlad (1,450m), where you meet your Berber muleteer and mountain guide. The first day is an easy acclimatization walk through the Ouirgane National Park. The landscape here is gentle, with copper-green soil, juniper trees, and open valleys.

Day 2 – Tinzert – Azzaden Valley (Ait Aissa)
Crossing to the Beautiful Azzaden Valley.

After breakfast, the trail climbs steadily out of the valley before traversing across to the stunning Azzaden Valley. The scenery opens up to reveal a flowing mountain stream, lush walnut groves, and panoramic views toward Mount Toubkal and its surrounding peaks at the head of the valley.

Day 3 – Ait Aissa – Tizi n Mzik – Imlil
Mountain Pass and Descent to Imlil.

Today features a rewarding climb out of the Azzaden Valley. The route leads toward Tizi Oussem before ascending to the mountain pass of Tizi n Mzik (2,489m). From the pass, you descend into the lush valley of Imlil, the main trekking hub of the region.

Day 4 – Imlil – Sidi Chamharouch – Toubkal Refuge
Trek Through the Mizane Valley to High Altitude.

After breakfast, the trek begins along the Mizane Valley, passing through the village of Aremd, the largest settlement in the valley, known for its terraced farming and lively atmosphere. Continuing east, the trail climbs along mule paths and rocky cliffs to the spiritual shrine of Sidi Chamharouch, a pilgrimage site beside a waterfall. From here, the ascent continues steadily to the Toubkal Refuge (3,206m).

Day 5 – Summit of Jebel Toubkal – Imlil – Marrakech
Summit the Highest Peak in North Africa.

An early start for the ascent of Jebel Toubkal (4,165m), the highest mountain in North Africa. The route climbs the southern cirque, crossing streams and scree slopes before reaching the ridgeline and summit plateau. From the top, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views across the High Atlas, the Marrakech Plain, the Anti-Atlas, and even the Sahara on clear days. After descending back to the refuge and Imlil, transfer to Marrakech.
